Boulder Friends of Jazz
Boulder Friends of Jazz (BFJ) is a 501(c)(3) non-
profit organization devoted to the
preservation, promotion and the
performance of traditional
Jam sessions are held from 1 to 4
pm on the first Sunday of each month except
August, when the Member Picnic is held.
Admission to the jam sessions is $10 for non-
members, $8 for members, $2 for students, and
$4 for a Gray Wolf. Participating musicians are
admitted free. Click here or the Member Benefits
tab above for more information. The jam sessions
are open to all musicians who sign in at the door.
Everyone doing so is guaranteed to play. Both
musicians and non-musicians may look forward to
great listening and a good dance floor.
WHERE: The monthly jams are held at the Avalon
Ballroom, 6185 Arapahoe Rd, Boulder, CO. For

Bring A Friend
You’re only a stranger here once is more
than just a cliche at BFJ. Bring a friend and
meet new friends. Enjoy the music, dance a
little or a lot and share a drink. You don’t
have to be a member, but consider the extra
