Special Events Occur On The First Sunday Of The Month Specified
Mardi Gras
At the annual BFJ Mardi Gras Party, members and guests compete
for prizes awarded for best costumes, masks, etc. The party
occurs at either the February or March Jam, depending on the
official Mardi Gras date.
Member Picnic
At the annual member picnic held in August, BFJ supplies
beverages, hamburgers and bratwurst. Members bring appetizers,
salads, snacks and desserts to share. Members enjoy free
admission, guests pay the regular admission.
Holiday Party
Members dress in their finest holiday attire for the party held during
the December Jam. It’s a potluck, where members bring
appetizers, snacks, main dish or dessert to share with others.
